KJW manufactures one the most affordable and most reliable SIG SAUER P229s on the market. You have a heavy-weight metal slide, heavy-duty recoil spring and a kick that is unparallelled among the SIG family of pistols. As a fully licensed product, it bears realistic markings on the slide, frame and grips. The Sig Sauer logos are all over this piece.
The pistol is entirely made out of metal except the ABS grips. The overall built quality is exceptional with a very realistic feeling to it. Both sights are removable and bear white dots that make shooting more accurate. The grips are textured and offer a very sturdy handling. Lower accessory rail allows attachment of any 20mm accessory, such as lasers and lights.
The pistol shoots in both single or double action. Its blowback feature is strong and crisp. Possibly one of the hardest SIG P226s out there. The working decocker lever is located forward of the slide lock. It allows you to carry the pistol with a BB in the chamber with the hammer down, in single action mode. The Hop-Up Thumb Dial is located inside the pistol (removing the slide is required). Depending on the gas and the temperature, the pistol shoots around 300 FPS. The adjustable Hop Up and its power result to a superior performance. The disassembly procedure is as the same as the real steel. Its metal magazine holds 24 BBs and due to its massive volume can hold enough gas to shoot more than 35 BBs.
The P229 is a compact firearm often used for duty and/or concealed carry purposes. The standard version features a DA/SA trigger. The P229 differs from its cousin the P226 in several respects, and was originally introduced to supplement and then replace the P228 by adding the .357 SIG and .40 S&W as available chamberings. The P229 consists of a CNC-milled stainless steel slide, typically colored black with a Nitron finish.
