This is a full size scale airsoft replica of a decked out AK74 model. Enjoy electric power bolt recoil with Semi & Fully Automatic Shooting mode that couldn't be more realistic. The bolt moving back and forth makes it extra lifegiving.
The receiver is constructed from Aluminum that makes the model lightweight but durable. Metal are the trigger, trigger guard, barrel, rear sight post, front sight, flash hider, etc. The rest of the construction, stock, pistol grip and handguard is Nylon Fibre. The furniture is following the Tactical Defense Institute (TDI) Style. The handguard sports 20mm Picatinny rails that are designed to accept accessories such as lasers, flashlights & foregrips. The stock is a retractable M4 style stock that also follows the TDI style one. The stock comes with a butt pad, that opens up and reveals two flashlight batteries compartment.
The Polymer made 74Type hi-cap magazine accommodates 500 Rounds of 6mm Plastic BB (compatible with most of other AK Type AEG Magazines). The receiver top cover can open to store a Stick Type battery. APS recommendes user to use 11.1V Li-Po battery.
The model sports 2 sling swivels that can accomodate any kind of single, two or three point sling. The flash-hider is a Vortex style one.
The AK-74 is an assault rifle developed in the early 1970s in the Soviet Union as the replacement for the earlier AKM (itself a refined version of the AK-47).
It uses a smaller intermediate cartridge, the 5.45x39mm, replacing the 7.62x39mm chambering of earlier Kalashnikov-pattern weapons.
