The Glock 17 is modelled after the real deal Glock 17 made in Austria. This is a spring operated airsoft model that requires manual cocking after each shot.
The gun itself is built above spring pistol standards. It is made of a very tough plastic, has a locking slide and open breach, and is solid as a rock. It weighs a fair amount too, due to the weights in the 15 round magazine. The mag is a speed load type, you pull the spring down and pour bbs into the bottom side of the mag when tiled upside down to fill it. Much more handy than hand loading the gun.
Performance is more than ok for a spring operated pistol. The gun shoots at a fair 260 fps with a .12, with its accuracy up to 30 metres. It is fairly accurate till that distance.
The Glock pistol, sometimes referred to by the manufacturer as a Glock "Safe Action" Pistol, is a series of polymer-framed, short recoil operated, locked breech semi-automatic pistols designed and produced by Glock Ges.m.b.H., located in Deutsch-Wagram, Austria. It entered Austrian military and police service by 1982.
