The 92 model, designed by Berretta is one of the most famous pistols in the market. It has since been manufactured by various other companies, like the PT92 by Taurus.
This is a CO2 (carbon dioxide) operated airgun that shoots 4.5 mm (.177) metal BBs. The pistol is metal as well, with the grips being polymer.
The pistol is extremely realistic as it offers a blowback function. The user must cock the slide before start shooting. After each shot the slide moves backwards and slams forwards. That inserts a new BBs after every shot in the barrel exactly like the real deal.
It would make an excellent training gun as it functions just like the real semi automatic handgun.
What makes this model by KWC stand out from the crowd is the fact that it offers a selectable Semi and Automatic mode. This can be done easily via a selector level on the left hand side of the frame.
The PT92 shoots very accurately for a BB airgun and has fairly decent power considering its blowback function.
The frame comes with an integrated Picatinny rail, allowing the attachment of various tactical accessories.
The metal magazine is almost the same weight as the real one and it shares the same size. It holds both the 4.5 mm metal BBs and the CO2 cartridge.
One single piece of CO2 cartridge is enough to shoot around 60 BBs in Semi Auto mode and around 40 BBs in Full Auto mode.
