CYMA is known for its variations of AK models. One of the most modern and versatile is the AK105. Being one of the metal models, its economic but reliable like any other CYMA AK.
The receiver is made out of, dark grey finish, metal. The shape of the receiver is modelled after the AK74 type. The stock, barrel, front sight, flash hider are metal. The pistol grip and handguard are plastic and AK74 type, as well. The stock can be folded and secured to the left side of the receiver.
The AK105 style front set is unique to the AK104/5 models and stands between the full size AKs and the AKSU. The flash hider is 14mm”-” to 20mm”+” AKS74U type. The rear sight is adjustable with markings up to 1000m. The gun sports two sling attachment points that can accommodate any single, two or three point sling.
The model shoots around 430 FPS out of the box, using a standard version 3 gearbox. The internals are compatible with most aftermarket accessories. Pulling the charging handle to the rear reveals the adjustable Hop Up mechanism. The model uses a typical AK stick type battery that ists under the top cover. The model comes with a 600 rounds AK74 style High Capacity polymer magazine.
The package includes the AK104, its magazine, a Front Sight Adjustment tool, battery and charger.
AK105 is one of the 100-series AK produced in 1990s and a shorten carbine version of the AK74M Assault Rifle, which in tuen was derived from the AK47 design and its AK74 successor. The shortern barrel of AK105 made ot a middle ground between the full size AK74 and the compact size AKS74U. Also, AK105 is chambered to fire 5.45x39mm ammo which used on the AK74 rifle, which is different from AK102 (chambered 5.56x45mm NATO) and AK104 (chambered 7.62x39mm round) in AK100 Series.
