The M933 Carbine is the shortest member of the AR family. It is directly derived from the M733 Carbine seen in the Blackhawk Down movie. It's compact size makes it ideal for CQB type games. It is made out of nylon fiber that makes it light, but still reliable. The carrying handle is removable and bears the adjustable rear sight. Under the carrying handle there is a standard 20mm Picatinny rail. The stock is retractable LE type.
The model utilizes a standard Version 2 Gearbox like any other M4 style airsoft gun. The adjustable Hop Up is located under the dummy bolt. Its 300 mm barrel is meant to be working in both indoor and outdoor games. The model shoots around 330 to 360 FPS which is ideal even for woodland games. The magazine is metal and its High Capacity of 300 rounds makes reloading scarce.
The package includes the M933, metal high capacity magazine, battery and charger which makes it an ideal starter offer for novice players.
The M4 carbine is a family of firearms that was derived from earlier carbine versions of the M16 rifle, which was in turn derived from the original AR-15 rifle that Eugene Stoner designed and ArmaLite made. The M4 is a shorter and lighter variant of the M16A2 assault rifle. It is a gas-operated, magazine-fed, selective fire, shoulder-fired weapon with a telescoping stock and 14.5 in (370 mm) barrel to ease close quarters combat. Like the rest of the M16 family, it fires the .223 caliber, or 5.56mm NATO round.
The M4 carbine is heavily used by the U.S military. It will eventually replace the M16 rifle for most combat units in the United States Army. The winner of the Individual Carbine competition was to supplement the M4 carbine in U.S. Army service; all other services will continue using the M4 carbine and M16 rifles. The Army cancelled the Individual Carbine competition without selecting a replacement rifle and instead plans to equip soldiers with the improved M4A1.
