The KJW MK1 (based on the Ruger Mk1) is a new addition to our ever growing range of semi-automatic gas guns. The Ruger can be used with both red or green gas and the performance of this lightweight pistol is imperssive.
The KJW MK1 Pistol is a double action non-blowback gas pistol. Being non-Blowback means that all the power from the gas goes straight to the BBs. Depending on the gas used, the model may shoot from 300 up to 420 FPS. Solidly built with all metal internals encased in a heavy duty ABS plastic frame the Mk.1 is a very sturdy and reliable sidearm. The trigger, safety lever, rear iron sight and magazine are metal and helps balance the gun and it feels great in the hand.
The front sight is plastic and integrated with the barrel. The rear sight is metal and is adjustable. The Hop Up is metal and adjustable. With the correct fitting, the pistol can shoot to extreme distances due to its Hop Up design and the non moving slide. The magazine holds 17 rounds and is fairly easy to load. Every full magazine is able to shoot more than twice its capacity.
The Ruger Standard model is a firearm introduced in 1949 as the first product manufactured by Sturm, Ruger and Company, and was the founding member of a product line of .22 Long Rifle rimfire cartridge pistols. It was marketed as an inexpensive .22 caliber rimfire intended for casual sport and target shooting, and plinking. Created by firearms expert William B. Ruger, the Standard model and its offspring went on to become the most accepted and successful .22 semi-automatic pistol ever produced.
