Jing Gong new AKS74M is a state of the art AEG with the price tag of an entry level model. The AKS74M is the modernised version of the AK74 family with a side folding stock.
The receiver is constructed of steel with the rest of the model being metal, except the polymer pistol grip and handguard.
The stock folds to the left hand side to make it easier to transport. Both rear and front sights are adjustable.
The AEG uses a stick type battery that sits undet the top cover. Its Blowback feature gives it a great sense of realism and a distinctive sound.
The model uses the almost impossible to break Version 3 Gearbox that comes already upgraded. Package includes the AEG, the Polymer High Capacity magazine, battery and charger.
The AK-74 is an assault rifle developed in the early 1970s in the Soviet Union as the replacement for the earlier AKM (itself a refined version of the AK-47). It uses a smaller intermediate cartridge, the 5.45X39mm, replacing the 7.62X39mm chambering of earlier Kalashnikov-pattern weapons.
