The Vietnam Era M16A1 includes a mock three-prong flash hider, adding an extra dose of authenticity. It also comes with a full stock and is intentionally missing the brass deflector that is equipped on the more modern M4s, legitimately making this a near-to-perfect replica of the M16A1!
The JG M16 AEG Rifle is equipped with front and rear iron sights, complete with two sight stations for long and short range shooting.
This authentic M16A1 style rifle also comes with front and rear metal sling mounts, allowing you to attach an authentic Vietnam Era two point sling.
A metal mock gas tube serves as a nice finishing touch and can be clearly seen through the triangular hand guard, adding to the overall realism of the rifle.
Designed for medium to long range airsoft combat, the JG M16 boasts a long, full metal outer barrel paired with a high precision inner barrel that runs 509 millimeters long, making this AEG extremely accurate.
This is powered by a full metal Version 2 gearbox, shoots consistently at 400 feet per second (w/ 0.20g BBs). The new line of JG guns include varios upgrades found in much more expensive models.
The reinforced gearbox shell with 8mm steel ball bearings. The spring guide comes with bearings as well. The gears are steel that will last for extremely long time. The piston is reinforced to withstand the pressure from the 400 FPS spring. Finally, the High Torque Electric Motor will step up the game...
Ensuring that your rounds reach your targets, the one piece hop-up can be easily adjusted. Racking back the fully functional charging handle locks the mock bolt to the rear, providing easy access to the hop-up chamber. Pressing the bolt release drives the mock bolt back home.
The gun runs on a small type battery stored in the stock. Access is via the stock pad where the a small Tamiya connector can be found.
The model comes with a steel High Capacity magazine. The model is compatible with other M4/16 magazines that can be found in our eshop.
