ARES is one of the leading Hong Kong airsoft manufacturers. Their models are top of the line quality models with all the realistic features airsoft players dream of. The G36 line is no exception.
The G36 is the longer/standard version of the family. It is the bigger brother of the compact size G36C and the carbine G36K. The model is almost entirely constructed out of High Density Nylon Fibre and metal alloys. That results to strurdy construction, but low weight. The charging handle and selector lever are ambidextrous which is always a big plus. The front sling mount, bayonet lug and flash hider are all made out of steel, compared to other companies' alloys.
The reciever is Nylon Fibre with one piece injection molded handguard. The lower part of the handguard bears a 20mm Picatinny rail that allows the attachment of various tactical accessories. The integrated bipod can be folded out of the way when not in use. The stock is fully modernized with folding features and is solidly constructed with no wobble what so ever. The rubber end of it makes shouldering comfortable. With the stock folded, the G36 is still a long rifle, but it's way more easier to carry around than the one meter long model. The G36 features a 3x sighting system with a Zeiss style red dot system on top of it, which is fully adjustable.
The ARES G36C's Version 3 Gearbox is equipped with high-performance 8mm steel ball bearings and reinforced high-speed gears. Coupled to the high-torque motor installed from the factory, this AEG shoots about 900 rounds per minute with an 8.4v mini battery, and OVER 1,000 RPM a 9.6v mini. Power peaks at about 380 FPS with 0.20g BBs. The magazine provided with the gun is a 140 BB medium capacity one. Like any other G36 series magazine, the user can clamp two of them together. The adjustable Hop Up mechanism can be reached by pulling back the charging handle.
The Heckler & Koch G36 is a 5.56?45mm assault rifle, designed in the early 1990s by Heckler & Koch (H&K) in Germany as a replacement for the heavier 7.62mm G3 battle rifle. It was accepted into service with the Bundeswehr in 1997, replacing the G3. The G36 is gas-operated and feeds from a 30-round detachable box magazine or 100-round C-Mag drum magazine.
