Pentagon's Woman's BDU is a vast improvement over the typical BDU design. The BDU pants (Battle Dress Uniform) are components of the U.S. BDU uniform, used by the U.S. Army since 1981 to 2005. Pentagon utilised the same basic design, but updated the form to fit the contemporary user's needs.
They are comfortable to wear and very hard wearing. It carries the typical front, rear and cargo pockes. The main pockets bear a reinforced fillet to protect them from inseting and removing tactical accessories, like a multitool or folding knife.
They feature double layer reinforced protection on the seat and knee area with side waist adjusters and draw string ankle adjusters.
The stiching is triple to increase the mechanical strength.
The main front closure is not done via buttons, but with a high quality YKK one. It also closes via a PRYM snap button.
On the bottom of the legs there are nylon tapes which are used to tie trousers to legs or shoes. The trousers can be finely adjusted with side waist adjusters and internal drawstrings on the lower leg part. The belt loops are redesigned to acommodate wider belts.
The shirt carries just two front pockets, as it is meant to be tucked inside the pants. Right above the pockets, there are two Velcro segments to attach name tapes.
The cuffs are adjustable via a button. The rear part can be tightened to fit the users needs.
Finally, the whole design is slimmer and more curvy to follow female bodies.
