The M2 is the new PPQ Variant introduced at the 2013 Shot Show. It comes with a thumb release push button which replace the ambi magazine release lever appear on P99 and PPQ and is reversible for left-handed user.
The frame is polymer and the slide is metal which gives the PPQ a light weight and very balanced feel. The frame offers a very rugged feeling due to the high content of glass fiber. The metal frame offers a high realistic finish.
The frame bears a Picatinny rail that will allow you to attach any prefered tactical accessories.
The ergonomics of the Walther PPQ M2 are excellent. The grip has a pronounced hump at the rear, which looks a little odd, but this locks in to the base of the thumb, providing a comfortable, precise and firm grip. The slide and magazine releases are easily operated while gripping the pistol and the slide incorporates both front and rear cocking serrations.
Blowback is notably strong and snappy and it appears to move faster and more freely than other replicas. The single action only trigger pull is short, light, consistent and with no discernible creep.
Adjusting the Hop Up system will put the pistol on the top of competition. Accuracy is being improved by the white dots on the front and rear sights.
The full size metal magazine houses the 22 6mm BBs and enough gas to shoot close to 50 of them.
