The Umarex HK MP7 is a great choice if you're on a budget for a nice PDW or secondary weapon. What makes this an excellent choice is that it bears realistic HK markings all over the receiver...

It features a solidly built polymer receiver and a folding forward grip. The stock is retractable for concealment or carry. This is the ultimate PDW weapon! It is small enough to wield as a pistol, yet stable enough to shoot like a rifle.

The gun is made out of pretty sturdy polymer. It's got a good hefty amount of metal parts, but the real steel firearm is made out of composite plastic and it's pretty true to the gun itself.

It's got textured plastic for the top and lower receiver as well as the grip. And it's got flat smoother plastic for the top part of the receiver.

The metal parts would include the magazine, the selector fire switch, the bolt catch, the trigger, the Picatinny rails, the sights which are also removable and the barrel. Not to mention the stock arms are metal as well.

It's got a retractable stock which clicks into place pretty firmly.

It's got pistol sights which at the same time have the two little white dots, on the back and then the one on the front.

On the right and left side of the receiver there are two Picatinny rail segments that allow the attachment of tactical accessories.

The model uses a propietary Gearbox designed for AEPs and electric operated pistols. It shoots around 250 FPS, which is not the strongest out there, but the adjustable Hop Up makes them BBs flying out there. Its power is good enough for CQB games or for someone who wishes more than a pistol as a secondary weapon.

The package includes the Umarex HK MP7, a battery and charger.

The MP7 is a German Personal Defence Weapon (PDW) manufactured by Heckler & Koch (H&K) and chambered for the HK 4.6?30mm cartridge. It was designed with the new cartridge to meet NATO requirements published in 1989, as these requirements call for a personal defense weapon (PDW) class firearm, with a greater ability to defeat body armor than current weapons limited to conventional pistol cartridges. The MP7 went into production in 2001. It is a direct rival to the FN P90, also developed in response to NATO's requirement. The weapon has been revised since its introduction and the current production version is the MP7A1.
