For the hardcore WWII reenactors, the collectors and people who are interested in a piece of history the Kar 98K is a top of the line choice. This amount of detail that this rifle carries is outstanding.

The receiver is made out of metal and polymer, making it quite light for a rifle with its length. What makes it extremely atractive is the Walnut stock, carved out of a solid redish piece of wood.

The front sight is fixed, but the rear one is adjustable with markings all the way up to 1800 metres, which is propably optimistic...

On the left hand side of the rifle, there are two sling attachment points, one on the rear part of the stock and one on the front end of it. Combine it with a leather sling and you are set.

The rifle accepts realistic metal shells that are placed to the exat position of the real rifle. Each shell accepts one 8mm plastic BB. While cycling the bolt, the shell ejects and the next one takes its place.

The KAR operates with Gas that is stored in the bolt and filled like with any Gas operated airsoft gun.

The Karabiner 98 Kurz (often abbreviated Kar98k, K98, or K98k) was a bolt action rifle chambered for the 7.92 x 57mm Mauser cartridge that was adopted as the standard service rifle in 1935 by the German Wehrmacht.

It was one of the final developments in the long line of Mauser military rifles. Although supplemented by semi- and fully automatic rifles during World War II, it remained the primary German service rifle until the end of World War II in 1945.
