The Umarex Combat Zone MP380 looks extremely familiar with the MP40, because it is modelled after the MP38 which is the father of the 40 model. It was one of the first and most succesful SMGs (SubMachine Gun) of its time.
The model is the one of the most affordable MP38 model in the market. This would be most appropriate as a static model, but it shoots 6mm BBs at the same time so it can used in a skirmish.
The stock can be used open or closed. When folded, the gun is extremely compact and when open, offers a steady platform for long distance shots.
The model offers two sling attachment points, one to the rear end of the gun and one at the base of the barrel.
It is spring powered, so the user must cock the charging handle located at the left hand side of the gun.
What is not contemporary to the SMG's design the presence of a Picatinny rail on top of the receiver that accepts various attachments.
The detachable magazine stores 32 BBs that is more or less the capacity of the real deal gun.
