The Hammerli Firefox is suitable for novice shooters. The extremely affordable price and the build quality makes ideal for beginners.
What makes it more attractive is that it bears characteristics found in much more expensive models.
The Firefox is a break barrel spring powered airgun. Its rifled barrel ads to both range and accuracy. It is loaded like any other break barrel system, by pushing the barrel down, inserting the Pellet and pulling the barrel to its original position.
The design polymer stock with a rubber pad on the end serves for comfortable use. The stock has a rugh surface finish to help with handling.
The manual safety can be activated by pushing the lever on the rear end of the receiver.
The airgun is equipped with Tru-Glo fiber optic sights, which can be adjusted horizontally and vertically too.
On the muzzle of the barrel there is design compensator with Weaver rail of 22mm on which it is possible to fix a bipod (eventhough adding weight on the end of a break barrel is not advisable).
On the receiver, there is a typicap airgun 11mm rail that serves to fix optics.
