The MP7 is HK's answer to the demand for a PDW (Personal Defence Weapon) of the 21st century. Made by lightweight composite materials, compact with a fierce round, it's the future.
Umarex is offering us an 1:1 model of the MP7 with licensed and realistic HK markings on the frame and magazine. Everything found on the real deal gun is found on this model as well. The build is by VFC which guarantees top of the line from one the most known airsoft manufacturers.
The A1 version offers a folding forward grip and two Picatinny rail segments on both sides of the receiver to allow the user to adapt the little thing to his spesific mission needs.
The Umarex HK MP7 GBB is built extremely well, using near exact components that you would find on the real HK MP7, yes it has a plastic or polymer shell but that is what you would find on the 4.6mm x 30 real steel version. It uses lots of metal where it needs to be like in the internal housing, pins, bolt, barrel, rails and even the magazine.
The fit and finish is bang on, this gun is as solid as they come!
Both front and rear sights are removable and can be folded down when not in use. HK designed them to be used even when they are folded down, much like pistol sights with almost the same sight picture. Just amazing.
The stock has metal lugs with a polymer butt plate. It can be locked in two different positions, closed and fully open.
The model offers five sling attachement points, one located at the right rear end of the stock and four on both sides of the reciever.
Every control on the Umarex HK MP7, like the charging hanlde, the selector lever, the bolt release lever and the magazine release lever, are completely ambidextrous.
The button to release the stock is the only thing that isn't on both sides, but the gun is so small, and the button is located on the rear most portion of the gun that it can be accessed with either hand.
Firing the MP7 brings a grin to your face with very fast and solid recoil. The sound is very solid and loud! The recoil feeling is truly the best in the field of gas blowback SMG's on the market today.
The little MP7 can fire in both Semi and Full automatic mode offering pleasure to the most demanding player.
The metal magazine houses the Gas and 40 6mm BBs.
Before the first shot, the player must cock the charging handle located at the rear of the receiver, in a way resembling the AR type rifles. After the last BB has been shot, the bolt locks to the rear position. Replace the magazine with a fresh one and press the bolt release catch and send the bolt back home...
The model shoots around 1 Joule (330 FPS), but with an adjustable Hop Up (adjusted with the help of a 5mm Allen key from an opening to the front end of the gun) it offers both range and accuracy to dominate both indoor and outdoor games.
