The 20 rounder short m16 magazines were originally used with the M16s in Vitenam, but they were soon replaced with higher capacity ones. The airsoft world loves the Vietnam ones as they are different and really interesting.
They are ideal for Vietnam enthusasts and the compact style is best suited for M16 based sniper rifles - where a long magazine might get in the way of the gun resting on the ground with a bipod.
They are metal but still lightweight and very sturdy.
They need a speed loader to reload, but they don't rattle and are more milsim. The 110 round medium capacity is the best balance between the low and the high cpacity ones.
