The system's modularity is derived from the use of PALS webbing, rows of heavy-duty nylon stitched onto the leg platform as to allow for attachment of various MOLLE-compatible pouches and accessories. This method of attachment has become a de facto standard for modular tactical gear, replacing the click and stick system used in the earliest modular vest systems.
Thanks to the fact that the leg panel’s surface is covered with the MOLLE system webbing it is possible to attach different elements of tactical gear, such as: a pistol holster, magazine pouches or a personal first aid kit.
It is mounted on a belt with the use of a single band which is equipped with a buckle and which is stabilized on the leg it attaches around either the left or right leg by means of two elasticated, adjustable straps which may be opened for either left or right leg by means of two quick release buckles.
The panel is shaped towards the top to prevent chafing towards the groin and buttock area.
The Pentagon MOLLE leg platform is available in Olive, Black, Lizard Camouflage and ACU Camouflage.
